Outgoing Prime Minister of Kosovo, Hashim Thaci, hailed the visit of Albanian Prime Minister, Edi Rama, to Serbia saying that it will contribute to improvement of relations between the two countries. Thaci expressed belief that Rama’s historic visit and signing of three important cooperation agreements mark a new chapter in relations between Albania and Serbia. “I particularly commend counterpart Rama for his position on the necessity for recognising the reality of an independent Kosovo, for his support to the Pristina-Belgrade dialogue and solidarity for fellow-nationals in the Presevo Valley”, Thaci said. “Dialogue is the best way to achieve an understanding and sustainable stability in our region”.
