Berat Buzhala, former deputy of the Assembly of Kosovo and member of the Steering Committee of the Democratic Party of Kosovo (PDK,) has resigned today from this position. In his notification, Buzhala expressed special appreciation for Skenderaj/Srbica mayor, Sami Lushtaku. According to him Lushtaku is being unfairly tortured for war crimes. “While the party to which he belongs, has done little or nothing to help enlightening of the truth,” assessed Buzhala.

Media also report that in another statement made for Telgrafi,  Buzhala said that he took nomination of Margarita Kadriu as deputy leader of PDK as a personal insult. “A woman without any intellectual or moral value, was established at the most senior positions of PDK. I will certainly make announcements about other problems,” Buzhala reportedly said.
