Adnan Rrustemi writes that Isa Mustafa’s political maneuvers without the slightest concern, about the promises that he made to his voters, demonstrate his disrespect for them. “To him, this was just a promise; he could have said the opposite as well. It is not important what voters think, they were always used and misused, depending on his needs or personal benefits,” writes Rrustemi and adds that politicians like Mustafa consider that if they could deceive voters once they can always do so. “The truth is that Isa Mustafa was voted the least for what he said or did. People voted for him to make creation of Thaci 3 government impossible,” writes Rrustemi adding that these voters went out in the streets to celebrate even before the last ballot box was counted.

He considers that during the five months in LAN coalition, Mustafa saw himself in a role that he never played before – that of an honest politician, determined to fight a harmful government, and ready to give up privileges for a major cause. “For ninety days, he continued to reflect enthusiasm for the possibility of changes, and determination not to accept even discussions with PDK members, let alone join a coalition with them. But suddenly, it came to his mind that he was deceived by himself. The moment of his “soberness” was not spontaneous and it would take an “Extra slang” of an ambassador to prove that Mustafa with the 70 files of his party’s corruption, belongs more to Hashim Thaci’s side than to a movement for changes of the course of the state and fight of corruption, writes Rrustemi.
