When Hashim Thaci, leader of the Democratic Party of Kosovo (PDK), and Isa Mustafa, leader of the Democratic League of Kosovo (LDK), met with Kosovo’s President, Atifete Jahjaga three days ago, the latter had expected that they had already resolved everything and the Assembly session would be held within 48 hours, writes GazetaBlic. But it did not happen. Presidency sources told Gazeta Blic that Jahjaga was surprised when Mustafa said that they needed time – almost two weeks, in order to compile the program and make the selection of ministers of the two parties. “She said that the international friends are asking and pressuring that this issue is resolved quicker,” the source told Gazeta Blic. And when they say “international friends” – then the Americans are always taken into account, explained the source.
