Former mayor of Zubin Potok Municipality, Slavisa Ristic, is currently being questioned by international prosecutors in Mitrovica.
EULEX spokesperson Dragana Nikolic-Solomon said to Tanjug that Ristic has voluntarily reported himself. Ristic, and incumbent Mayor of Zubin Potok Municipality, Stevan Vulovic, were out of Kosovo in the past several months. EULEX has issued arrest warrants against Ristic and Vulovic since Kosovo Police was unable to summon them for questioning because they weren’t present at their home addresses.
Ristic was brought in connection with the incident which took place on 26 July 2011 on the territory of Zubin Potok, when a member the special Kosovo Police unit Enver Zumberi was killed, whereas Vulovic is suspected for assisting a Serb this year to escape from a detention cell in Zubin Potok.
