Community/Association of Serbian municipalities in Kosovo shall be established for three to five months, said the vice president of the Kosovo government Branimir Stojanovic.
Question of Community/Association of Serbian municipalities should be solved. He said that a deadline was set by the Serbian List in the coalition agreement that was signed with the Democratic Party of Kosovo and the Democratic League of Kosovo.
Stojanovic said that it remains to agree on the statute of the Community/Association at the highest level possible, because it will define its powers.
Appearing on the “Slobodno Srpski” show, broadcasted by the Serbian television network in Kosovo, Stojanovic said that the negotiations will be difficult, but that this issue must be resolved.
Stojanovic could not specify what the Serbs in Kosovo’s government would do, if fails the formation of a Community/Association.
He said that the coalition agreement stated that the privatization process cannot be implemented without the Serbs, and that it does not imply just for Serbian areas in Kosovo.
Stojanovic expected Serbs to work together not only in institutions but in all aspects of social life in Kosovo, stressing that the results would be made only if they are united.
