Unknown boys, for whom Serbs suppose are of Albanian nationality, have entered the Holy Virgin Mary Church in Orahovac/Rahovec and rang the church bells. Monks from Zočište Monastery have also reported that their property has been jeopardized.

Local Serbs in Orahovac/Rahovec were surprised to hear church bells at 14:25 on Monday and reported that boys who rang bells ran away in direction of the Albanian part of Orahovac/Rahovec. Local priest didn’t report the incident to Kosovo Police, whereas local Serbs said that they are stunned with such a bold behavior of children who dared to enter church premises and rang the bells.

They also said that they are now asking themselves, what can they await in future if nothing is sacred to Albanians and if the Serbian Orthodox Church premises are used for humiliation of the remaining Serbs in Orahovac/Rahovec.
Monks from Sveti Vrači (Saint Healers) Monastery in village Zočište near Orahovac/Rahovec have reported to the Kosovo Police that local Albanians from the same village are repeatedly entering their property despite the fact that they were asked several times not to do it. This time a flock of sheep appeared on the Monastery’s filed in vicinity of the Monastery.
