I am certain I will absolutely prove my innocence, although there is the frustrating fact that I have to prove my innocence, instead of the prosecution proving my guilt, stated leader of the civic initiative “Serbia, Democracy, Justice” Oliver Ivanovic.

He added for our radio that it will take a few more months, requiring a lot of energy, patience and finances, but there is no other way to clear his image. The trial to Ivanovic should start tomorrow in the EUELX court in Kosovska Mitrovica, on the indictment of his participation in the alleged war crimes over Albanians in 1999 and 2000.

They have not broken me with a long imprisonment and psychological torture, which is how I see this process so far. They cannot prove something that is completely untrue, and I will prove my innocence, Ivanovic emphasized prior to the trial.
