Three candidates have submitted candidacies for the post of a mayor of Gračanica/Graçanicë to the Kosovo Central Election Commission. Candidates are Vladeta Kostić from Civic Initiative Srpska, Nenad Rašić, former Minister of Labor and Social Welfare and the President of the Progressive Democratic Party, and Dragiša Mirić, former MP and the President of the New Kosovo Party.
Deputy Prime Minister of Kosovo and official of the Civic Initiative Srpska, Branimir Stojanović, said to RTK that candidacy of Vladeta Kostić for the post of mayor of Gračanica/Graçanicë is ‘our winning option’.
Mayoral elections in Gračanica/Graçanicë will be held on 18 January, due to resignation of the so far mayor Branimir Stojanovic who took the post of the Kosovo Deputy Prime Minister.
