Journalist Petrit Musolli in an opinion piece for Zeri writes that the continuous mass escape of Kosovo people towards the EU countries and threats for protests, will create a negative atmosphere against this government and the leadership in general.

So far, only former advisor of Hashim Thaci, now Minister of European Integration, Bekim Collaku, has given some ideas on how to “manage” the phenomenon of illegal migration. Although, his ministry is more technical than political. While regarding the salary increase, Prime Minister Isa Mustafa and Finance Minister Avdullah Hoti, remained silent.

Further on Musolli writes that the Prime Minister Mustafa must find a solution to this situation, and it cannot be done with the policy of retribution and violence measures. According to the author, Mustafa should open public debate about any concerns and should involve citizens more as his coalition partner.

Alternatively, if this situation is not well managed, it will produce the need for new elections, which would be the least convenient for the current Prime Minister, Musolli writes.
