In the regular meeting of the government of Kosovo on Wednesday, it was decided that the mining complex Trepca should be returned from the Kosovo Privatization Agency (KPA) to  the government of Kosovo. Kosovo’s Minister for Economic Development Blerand Stavleci said that with government’s proposal to amend the law on public enterprises, the Assembly of Kosovo may decide to remove the mining complex Trepca from the jurisdiction of the Kosovo Privatization Agency (KPA) and to register it as central public enterprise owned by the government of Kosovo.  The government approved this decision which will now be sent for approval to the Assembly.
