Prime Minister of Serbia, Aleksandar Vucic, today said that debate in the Kosovo parliament over the ownership structure of Trepča Company is delayed for 21 January, what comes as result of efforts invested by the Serbian Government in addressing the problem.

Vucic said to journalists at the Palace of Serbia that intensive talks were held on Trepča over the weekend with representatives of the international community, and that the issue will be addressed today with the representatives of Pristina and Serb community in Kosovo.

“The issue of property in Kosovo and Metohija has not being open yet and Serbian Government requests that this issue is opened as soon as possible,” said Vucic and added that it should not be allowed that property is taken away overnight, and after everything is over that someone says ‘let us now open the issue of the property  and that you struggle for two small companies in northern Kosovo’.

Vucic also said that he believes that international community will be neutral with regard to this issue.
