Saturday’s protest and demands addressed to Prime Minister Isa Mustafa for minister Jablanovic’s dismissal and reinstatement of Trepça into a public enterprise have made Mustafa very active.

PM Mustafa chose his Facebook account to express his personal view and the view of the Government he runs. He told citizens not to be afraid from the words of Serbia, but from those, who, according to him, manipulate with citizens’ emotions.

He qualified actions of the opposition parties a hypocrisy. PM Mustafa issued yet another reaction toward the opposition, saying: “I did not bring in Srpska List in. It was brought in by the north, votes of Serb citizens, and it the end it was brought in by the dialogue.”

On the other hand, opposition parties stated that Mustafa’s statements are deceptive and sneaky.

Kosovo political analysts consider Saturday’s protest for Jablanovic’s dismissal and Trepça as a pretext to bring down Prime Minister Mustafa, and organization of new elections.

They do not believe that Prime Minister will take their demands into account, irrespective to the 48-hour ultimatum given by organizers of the protest.

Kosovo Government does not think of responding to the ultimatum for dismissal of minister for communities and returns, Aleksandar Jablanovic.

“In line with the Constitution of Kosovo, Article 97, the Government is accountable to the Assembly of Kosovo regarding its work. Consequently, the Government does not treat the request of opposition parties,” said the minister of labour and social welfare Arban Abrashi, who is also Kosovo Government’s spokesperson.

Association of Kosovo Journalists (AKJ) strongly condemned the attack against the crew of RTK2 channel, which reports in Serbian, during Saturday’s protest in Prishtinë/Pristina.

“Unrestrained violence against journalists is an ugly, coward and scandalous act which does not resemble a free and democratic society. Attacks against journalists, irrespective to their ethnic background, are unacceptable,” reads the reaction of this Association.

Vetëvendosje Movement, as one of the key organizers of the protest, also reacted against this attack.

Vllahiu refutes media reports about Jahjaga’s resignation

(TV21)

Office of the Kosovo President Atifete Jahjaga refuted reports of a medium that Jahjaga might resign her President’s post and take over the lead of Kosovo Intelligence Agency (KIA).

President’s Advisor Arbër Vllahiu said that this is a media speculation. According to him, Jahjaga has not mentioned a potential resignation. She has a five-year constitutional mandate, until April 2016, and she is focused on carrying out her constitutional and legal responsibilities, Vllahiu told GazetaExpress.
