Families and members of the Association of kidnapped and killed in Kosovo and Meothija have sent a letter to the Prime Minister of Serbia, Aleksandar Vucic, asking that request for immediate release of kidnapped Serbs in Kosovo and Metohija during conflict in Kosovo is put on the agenda of Brussels dialogue on 9 February.

“Families of kidnapped in 1998 don’t know whereabouts of their kidnapped family members. And, as of 1999 and 2000, until the arrival of NATO, KFOR and UNMIK, number of kidnapped has gone to 1.300. From this reason we bag you to stand by the families of victims and request that leaders of the KLA (Kosovo Liberation Army) release our family members, and request their accountability,” reads the Association’s letter.

The Association further said that its members will never allow for kidnapped Serbs to be forgotten.
