Kosovo is expected to be admitted to the Union of European Football Associations (UEFA) on 29 or 30 June at the meeting of the organization’s executive committee. Kosovo Football Federation has applied for membership to UEFA and FIFA (International Federation of Association Football) before all other Kosovo sports federation but it seems now that the Kosovo Olympic Committee has been accepted to the International Olympic Committee, UEFA and FIFA are under increased pressure to grant Kosovo membership.
