Nenad Rasic and Petar Miletic said that the Serbian List should return to the Kosovo institutions in order to defend the interests of the Serbian community. At the meeting in Gracanica were adopted ten points concerning the improvement of the position of the Serbs in Kosovo. The last point envisaged that the draft statute of the Community of Serbian municipalities will be submitted at one of future meetings of the Assembly of the Serbian municipalities.
PDS leader and member of the Assembly of Kosovo Nenad Rasic says that he still does not know who and when will draft a statute of Association/Community of Serbian Municipalities (ZSO). “Two years after the signing of the Brussels Agreement we do not have even one letter from the draft document of the ZSO. That means that draft has not been done by Belgrade or Pristina, but by the third party. The third party is I guess Brussels. I suggested that we appeal to Brussels to give us the draft of the document, so that we may enhance and modify it,” he said.
Former Vice President of the Kosovo Assembly Petar Miletic is of the opinion that the formation of ZSO is late and that the real moment was after the local elections which were held in the north (what was a fulfilment of the dream of international community and Pristina). “I think that Belgrade should come out with its proposal of the statute, which should be publicly debated, and which should be discussed later, within the talks.”
