Bottled wine from Kosovo in Belgrade’s supermarkets (RTS)

Next week will begin delivery of 650,000 litters of bottled wine from Kosovo to central Serbia, so that the total shipment of wine will increase approximately to three million litters by the end of the year. Artur Camaj from the Orahovac/ Rahovec based company “Stounkasl” announced that from the next week, supermarkets in Belgrade, Kragujevac, Nis and Cacak, will offer a bottled wines from Kosovo, within the first shipment of 650,000 litters.

Tomorrow will be signed the procurement contract for glass bottles from the Pancevo glass factory, instead of former Greek supplier. Camaj said that the company “Stounkasl” received all necessary permits from Serbia, after representatives of the Ministry of Agriculture of Serbia visited the factory. Production of labels and packaging for bottles is on-going.

The company “Stounkasl” has so far exported bulk wine in Serbia, so that in 2014 it exported 1.35 million litters of wine, and by the end of 2015 it plans to export 2.25 million litters, in addition to the mentioned 650,000 litters of bottled wine.

RTK 2 reports that “Stounkasl” factory is ownership of an American, originating from the Decani municipality.
