Bulgaria’s President, Rosen Plevneliev, is visiting Kosovo today. President Plevneliev met with Kosovo’s President, Atifete Jahjaga, and Kosovo Assembly Speaker, Kadri Veseli. Plevneliev and Jahjaga discussed the cooperation between Kosovo and Bulgaria and Bulgaria’s investments in Kosovo. During the meeting, Jahjaga asked for Bulgaria’s support for Kosovo’s Euro-Atlantic integration. Meanwhile, Bulgarian President Plevneliev stressed that Kosovo and Serbia need to normalize their relations. Rosen Plevneliev, is the first Bulgarian President to visit Kosovo.
