Regional dialogue in support to the Brussels Agreement with participation of women representatives of Serbian and Kosovo parliaments and NGO representatives, along with members of the international and regional organizations will be held today in North Mitrovica in organization of the UN Women and Regional Women Lobby.
More than 130 women from Serbia and Kosovo and the region will take part in dialogue between Serbian and Kosovo MPs and representatives of communities of four municipalities in northern Kosovo.
The Serbian Parliament MP Gordana Čomić will take part along with the Kosovo Minister for Dialogue Edita Tahiri at the panel that will discuss implementation of the Brussels Agreement, whereas another panel will have to do with the key challenges for women in four municipalities in northern Kosovo.
Latest information is that the event is being temporary postponed due to security reasons, following the assessment of the Mayor of North Mitrovica, Goran Rakic. Organizers are investing efforts to find an alternative location in South Mitrovica in order that event could still take place today.
