The Prime Minister of Serbia Vučić today stated that Serbian President Tomislav Nikolic’s platform on Kosovo and Metohija is a serious text which will be discussed at the state level, and that it will be published after an analyzes over its realistic dimension, and said that he won’t quarrel over it with the President.

“It is about an extensive and serious text. After we analyze how realistic it is and whether it can be carried out, we’ll inform the public. We’ll talk about it at the state level. All should be acquainted with the document, intellectuals, public figures, lawyers,” said Vučić to journalists in Palace of Serbia.

When asked whether he thinks that Serbia might face some problems with the EU states because of the platform, Vučić said that he understands President Nikolić, and that President understands in what kind of situation, not easy at all, Serbia is. He explained that European and economic future depends on certain concessions which have to be made at certain moments and that politics is all about measuring and judging over it, and added that he believes that the best way forward and respond will be found, and stressed that nothing is a Holy Bible apart of better life of citizens of Serbia.

“We are ready to talk about it, as we are about any other document,” said Vučić, and added that he knows that the President is willing to hear comments and see what could be changed.

“I believe that the EU doesn’t want and will not agree on abolition of the dialogue, even though it is not written in the text, or that we go that narrow with regard to our position that we can’t continue talks with Kosovo Albanians in a serious manner,” said Vučić, and added that we have to look at our position in line with that and with the global developments.
“It is about a serious matter and we’ll analyze it in that way and address our citizens in the same fashion,” said Vučić.

When asked whether the platform leads toward factions in the Serbian Progressive Party, Vučić said that he won’t quarrel with the President Nikolić.
