Prime Minister of Serbia Aleksandar Vucic has called citizens to be fully united because in next days and months ‘full political stability should be preserved’. He added that this is needed for providing a safe future and better economy.
At the press conference in Belgrade Vucic said that the following month will be difficult for Serbia and that talks in Brussels between Belgrade and Pristina on 23 June will be difficult.
He went on to say that that situation in the region is getting complicated and that negotiations over political issues in Macedonia have failed last night and that Commissioner for European Neighborhood Policy and Enlargement Negotiations Johannes Hahn has canceled his visit to Bosnia and Herzegovina.
“Things in Western Balkans are getting very complicated, there are big internal problems in Kosovo, in Macedonia too, and disputes are growing bigger in Bosnia. Croatia will celebrate on 5 August, when we will all cry,” said Vucic. “We have to face and overcome all of it,” said Vucic and stressed that the Government will bring decisions in the interest of citizens and not in the interest of its popularity.
“Very difficult period is ahead of us, what u can see from my face. I was never particularly good –looking, but now I don’t look nice at all,” said Vucic.
“It is up to us to show our strength by being wise, tolerant and patient,” said Vucic.
