The director of the Office for Kosovo and Metohija Marko Ðurić said last night in Pristina, on the occasion of the two-year anniversary of broadcasting of the TV channel RTK2 in Serbian language, that it is very important for this service to function in the interests of Serbian people in Kosovo and Metohija and to report on all endeavors and challenges faced.
Ðurić stressed the importance of the objective informing, freedom of expression and access to information and highlighted that RTK2 can count on the support of the Office for Kosovo and Metohija in future.
The event was also attended by the Kosovo President Atifete Jahjaga, Kosovo Deputy Prime Minister Branimir Stojanovic, Minister of Local Government Adminiistration Ljubomir Maric and representatives of local self-governments and the Serbian Orthodox Church.
