The Supreme Court of Kosovo and the Institute for Cultural Diplomacy (ICD) from Berlin, supported by the United Nations Development Program (UNDP), organized the “Kosovo Summit on International Law and Human Rights 2015”, which will be held today and tomorrow in Pristina.

The first day of the Summit, entitled “70th Anniversary of the end of World War II and the establishment of the UN: An interdisciplinary review of developments in international law on the protection of human rights,” will be held in the Assembly, and there will be a press conference afterwards.  During the first day the attendees will discuss the importance of this Summit, cooperation and the role of institutions of justice / rule of law, the implementation of international standards on human rights, and the importance of meetings of this level.

The president of the Supreme Court, Fejzullah Hasani, said that the goal of any good government should be justice. “We cannot ignore the problems in the field of rule of law and lack of political seriousness to this,” Hasani said.
