“There are some delays for reasons which I do not want to analyse and which I suppose could also be political. However, there is no doubt that the establishment of the Special Court would be good” Ambassador Schlumberger said.

On the other hand, AAK caucus Chief Donika Kadaj Bujupi thinks differently. She said that that neither Kosovo Government nor Assembly Members have the right to raise their hands and suspend Kosovo’s sovereignty by voting in favour of the Special Court.

Whereas, LDK MP Armend Zemaj said that Kosovo institutions should not prolong any longer the establishment of the Special Court. According to him Kosovo has to ensure good relations with the internationals.

Meanwhile, members of the Assembly Committee on Legislation said that the Government has not yet submitted the draft-law for processing. They consider this act as negligence of the Government to the work of the Assembly.
