The U.S. Congressman Eliot Engel, proposed to the institutions of Kosovo to find a solution for establishment of the special court and to the Assembly of Kosovo to vote for the constitutional amendments which open way for the establishment of this court.
During his visit to the Constitutional Court of Kosovo, Engel told the media that it is important for this to happen, no matter how difficult the decision could be. He added that the other alternative is for the UN to establish the court, and this would not have been good for Kosovo.
Engel said that the U.S. will always stand close to Kosovo, as a friend, ally and partner and that it will support Kosovo to become a sustainable country.
