President of the Parliamentary Committee for Kosovo and Metohija Milovan Drecun said that Pristina is trying to cancel or at least redefine the most important part of the Brussels agreement – the formation of the Community / Association of Serbian municipalities (ZSO) with executive powers.

According to him, the ZSO with executive powers is for Belgrade the red line. Drecun said that Kosovo Prime Minister Isa Mustafa “twists” what has been agreed and deceives the public when he says that the formation of ZSO is not in accordance with Kosovo laws and Constitution. “I think this is the most important phase of the whole process of normalizing relations, because for Belgrade the ZSO with executive powers is the red line under which it will not go, and Pristina is persistently obstructing Belgrade to cross the red line,” said Drecun.

He recalled that acceptance of the Brussels Agreement and Plan on implementation mean that Pristina pledged to harmonize its laws with the laws required for the creation of the ZSO.
