Kosovo’s government has drafted a national development strategy for 2016-2021. This strategy will be a guide to the priorities which will be economic growth and strengthening of the private sector. Kosovo’s Prime Minister, Isa Mustafa said that the strategy is very important, and that it would be implemented in the coming period. “We are determined that the focus and subject of this strategy is Kosovo’s economic growth, which will enable larger employment and also competition in regional and international markets, rapid integration of Kosovo into the European Union and increase of welfare for the people,” Mustafa said. According to him, this national development strategy represents a comprehensive approach in the context of addressing critical development challenges.
