According to the statement signed by the mayors of ten Serbian municipalities in Kosovo, governments in Belgrade and Pristina as well as the Management Team for the establishment of the Community/Association of Serb municipalities (ZSO) are requested to reach the agreement on the establishment of ZSO, during the next meeting in Brussels. As stated, that will enable “full implementation of the Brussels agreement and paved the way for a genuine normalization of relations in Kosovo and Metohija.”
The mayors also recommended holding of the meeting with the representatives of the Serbs from Kosovo and Metohija, before the announced continuation of the Brussels dialogue on 25 August. “We also, demand from both governments and responsible institutions to use all their capacities and urgently abolish unjust and inhumane detention of Oliver Ivanovic and allow his release from the detention,” the statement said.
