The opposition still has not set the date when it will start organizing protests to oppose establishment of the Association of Serb Majority Municipalities.

Opposition parties say that they are organizing symbolic actions that will culminate with massive protests.

Besides opposing the Association, Vetëvendosje Movement (VV) is also opposing the agreement on energy, which, according to them, disputes Republic of Kosovo.

At a press conference stated, VV Chairperson Visar Ymeri said that it is important for protests to be sustainable.

(Most monitored broadcasters, KTV)

Opposition parties have requested from the Government of Kosovo to bring the Agreement on the Association and the Agreement on Demarcation to MPs of Assembly of Kosovo.

Donika Kadaj-Bujupi said that this request was made because the Government is doing the impossible to exclude the Assembly from ratification of these agreements.

However, one such discussion was not allowed to happen, as LDK and PDK members of this Assembly committee did not agree with it and demonstratively left the Committee meeting.

Chairperson of the Assembly Committee on Legislation, Albulena Haxhiu, also reacted against this action.

“With the signed agreements, the Assembly is being completely excluded, so Kosovo, from a democratic country is heading towards an autocratic country,” Haxhiu.

A great number of children from Roma, Ashkali and Egyptian (RAE) communities continue not to have adequate education.

To raise their awareness on registration of children in school, the nongovernmental organization “Voice of Roma, Ashkali and Egyptians” for two weeks now has launched the campaign titled “Come and register.”

During a visit to these communities in Lipjan/Lipljane, Kosovo minister of education Arsim Bajrami expressed the support of the ministry for education of children of these communities.

“Come and register” campaign will last until 16 June next year.

In over 50 files of the Municipality of Prishtinë/Pristina Inspection Directorate, special prosecutor Drita Hajdari, has managed to identify that in 36 of them the construction inspectorates had violated the law in the case of construction of public buildings in Prishtinë/Pristina.

All these violations happened during the period of 2010-2014, for their personal benefit and benefit of others.

Ten former construction inspectorates in the Municipality of Prishtinë/Pristina are accused of not fulfilling their official task, by not executing decisions for demolition of buildings that were being illegally constructed in Prishtinë/Pristina.
