Serbian Progressive Party (SNS) held a town hall meeting in the house of culture ‘Sveti Sava’ in Štrpce/Shtërpcë where 3.000 residents of the municipality collectively joined that party.

Member of the SNS Presidency Marko Đurić said on the occasion that 3.000 strong, capable and determined individuals have joined the family, and that time has come for everyone “who breaths and speaks Serbian” is put under one flag and that this one, according to him, is the SNS flag.

“There has to be a political group here in Kosovo and Metohija that gathers and unties people, and that is not dividing them on the right and left. The SNS here in Kosovo and Metohija is home to all Serbs who wish to live here,” said Đurić and added that he is honored with 3.000 new progressives.

Đurić went on to say that amongs the ones that have joined SNS are not only the mayor and MPs and ministers in the Kosovo government, but those who will contribute to better future of Serbs in Kosovo and Metohija.

The Mayor of Štrpce/Shtërpcë Bratislav Nikolić has also been appointed as a new commissioner of the SNS local board.
