Government harshly condemns the attacks against the police (Kosovapress)

The government of Kosovo has expressed concern and regret for the violence exercised by militant groups of the opposition parties over the Kosovo Police and the other constitutional institutions, injuring seriously some police officials, casing damages to public and private properties and disturbing the citizens.

 “Extremely vandal acts manifested during the violent protest called and led by Vetevendosje movement leadership and supported by other opposition parties, violate the law and order, work of the independent state bodies as well as major interests of the citizens of Kosovo state.” The government of Kosovo condemns harshly through this press release the attacks against the institutions of law and order, mandated to exercise their activity free from interference and violence.

“The Government of the Republic of Kosovo appeals to the opposition parties to give up anarchic actions and use of violence over the state institutions, with the intention of getting above the law and fulfilling their agendas of daily politics, by acting in contradiction with the interests of the citizens of the Republic if Kosovo,” is written in the press release.
