Minister without portfolio in the Serbian Government, Velimir Ilić, said to TV Pink, in regard to possibility that Serbia is put in situation to choose either EU or Kosovo, that Serbian Government has fulfilled all requests, and reminded that the request that Serbia recognizes Kosovo was already presented back in 2007.
“We are at the beginning again”, said Ilić and pointed that the Prime Minster Aleksandar Vučić has announced that Serbia might not be interested any longer for opening chapters, unless it is carried out in a way that was agreed. He explained that if talks are always brought back at the beginning due to the condition that Serbia recognizes independent Kosovo, directly or indirectly, that means that there can be no talks at all. No one is authorized to decide over this issue, only citizens can have a say about it, either in a referendum or in elections, said Ilić.
