Director of the Office for Kosovo and Metohija Marko Djuric said yesterday that Association/Community of Serbian Municipalities (ZSO) was a central element of political struggle and that it will be formed.
Djuric said that Pristina was trying to delay the process of forming the ZSO, thus undermining the dialogue. He said, after a closed session of the Parliamentary Committee for Kosovo and Metohija, on whose agenda was a report on the negotiations between Belgrade and Pristina, that what was currently happening in the negotiations does not mean that the obligation of Pristina ceased and it urgently needs to adopt an executive decree on the principles for the establishment of the ZSO.
-Every further delay of Pristina about it is unacceptable – Djuric said, adding that Serbia will, no matter the attitude of certain politicians in Pristina, continue to fund its institutions in the province.
Speaking about the negotiation platform for Chapter 35, he considered that it could be adjusted and that he expected its final version next month.
