Abbot of Visoki Decani Monastery Father Sava (Janjic) has condemned the position of the SANU president Dr. Vladimir Kostic, who stated that “at this moment the only political wisdom is in which way, with elements of dignity, Serbs should leave Kosovo.”

“This is a shameful statement from the man who sits at the head of a prestigious institution. Considering the fact Kostic didn’t give a statement as an individual, but as the president of the SANU, Serbian Academy of Science and Art (SANU) should declare whether it urges Serbs to emigrate and to change public policy or not,” wrote father Sava on Facebook. “Everyone is entitled to its opinion, since Kostic is holding very important position, he cannot make such irresponsible statements without consequences,” concluded the abbot of Visoki Decani.
