Formed a working group for shedding light on the crimes in Kosovo (Vecernje Novosti)

Parliamentary Committee for Kosovo and Metohija formed yesterday a working group to gather evidence in the investigation of crimes against Serbian people and other national communities in Kosovo.

The Committee Chairman Milovan Drecun said that the Working Group would intensively collect facts and evidence which may assist in the investigation of crimes against Serbs and other national communities.

The evidence would be submitted to the Special Court for war crimes in Kosovo, through the Serbian War Crimes Prosecution.

The Working Group began yesterday with the activities, and will be engaged in establishing the facts of the crimes, as well as the responsibilities of all starting from 1998.

Chairman of the Working Group is Milovan Drecun, and the Group is comprised of with several members of the relevant committees, representatives of the Office of the War Crimes of Serbia, Service of the MUP for discovering war crimes, as well as the government’s Commission for Missing Persons.
