The EU Special Representative in Kosovo, Samuel Zbogar, speaking at the parliamentary committee for European integration today said that it was not necessary to address the Venice Commission in regards to the Association/Community of Serb majority municipalities. According to him, the opinion of the Constitutional Court should be respected. He stressed that there is always room and need for dialogue and that he agrees that there is a possibility for a better communication by the government in the Assembly and with the opposition parties.  Zbogar once again criticized the opposition parties for blocking the work of the Assembly, saying that if the opposition want rule of law then “how is it possible that they throw teargas and eggs in the Assembly.” Asked by the committee members on the possibility of EU intervening to resolve the political crisis in Kosovo, Zbogar said that that was not possible because according to him, the political history in Kosovo is not the same as in Skopje, FYROM.
