French-Andorran consortium MDP Consulting still didn’t come up with the financial guarantees with regard to developing project of Brezovica, for which the deadline is 24 December.
Currently the phase is ongoing with all actors who have interest in participating in this project, said Pascal Rui, representative of the company. “We have private groups, development banks, we are talking with construction companies and other partners. It is a bit clearer as of today which of local businessmen will participate in the project,” said Rui.
Rui also denied speculation voiced by some media that this consortium has no money needed for such a big project, and that certain local businessman stand behind it. “We are international consortium,” said Rui. When asked by RTK2 whether an international arbitrage announced by Serbia against the concession could stop entire project, Ruid said that international arbitrage is senseless, and added that this project is important for local business and for all.
