“If the government and the opposition do not agree and do not overcome the parliamentary crisis, the risk of conflict between Albanians is very possible and could escalate, causing unnecessary civil war. That would be disastrous for Kosovo,” said MP of the Self-determination movement, Ilir Deda.

Dada who is known as the last opposition member in the Assembly invites his fellow MPs not to be “pawns” of political leaders, but to bear individual responsibility. He was the only MP from the opposition, who participated at the session in which the ratification of the SAA was discussed. He also voted for the inclusion of the amendment “Republic” to the agreement.

Deda proposed the Venice Commission as a solution that would end the marathon crisis in Kosovo.
