The Prime Minister of Kosovo, Isa Mustafa, said today at the meeting of the government of Kosovo that the government of Kosovo has taken over a major burden by signing the agreements that are being violently rejected. However, he added these agreements do not concern anything else but normalization of the relations with Kosovo’s neighbors, and that no evil is involved in them.
Mustafa stressed that the government will be ready to respect any decision of the Constitutional Court related to these issues and opposition parties should respect these decisions as well. “We are not dealing with political demarcation. We are not dealing with setting new borders, but we are dealing with marking of the borders which existed since 31 December 1988,” Mustafa said.
“The truth cannot be justified by violence, teargas or other means. These are not democratic means therefore we cannot have a dialogue with anyone in this manner. Within this respect, as Prime Minister, I fully support the actions undertaken by Kosovo institutions, the Police and Prosecution, because we are aiming to build the state,” Mustafa added. During 61 meeting of the government, Mustafa called on the opposition to return to the Assembly, renounce violence and engage in open dialogue for resolution of these matters.
