EULEX DFM solves fate of two missing persons (Klan Kosova)

The EU Rule of Law Mission in Kosovo (EULEX) through a press release informed that following the exhumations that took place on August 25, 2015 in Krusha e Vogel/Mala Krusa in the Municipality of Prizren, and the subsequent analysis of DNA results received, EULEX DFM has managed to solve the fate of two missing persons. One victim of the March 26, 1999 Krusha e Vogel/Mala Krusa massacre was identified. In addition, as a result of many years of work with the families of the Pastasel/Pusto Selo victims in the Municipality of Rahovec/Orahovac, another person considered missing was identified. “DFM is pleased to have solved the fate of two persons who have been missing since 1999 to provide families with much needed closure. EULEX will continue to support DFM in solving cases of missing persons in Kosovo. Since 2008, EULEX has solved 384 cases of missing persons as a result of conflict in Kosovo,” the press release says.
