The government of Kosovo and the Federal Republic of Germany today signed an agreement on financial cooperation. With this agreement, Germany allocates 17 million euros to Kosovo for various projects in water and waste management. The German Ambassador to Kosovo, Angelika Viets, said that so far Germany has supported Kosovo with over 500 million euros. Meanwhile, Kosovo Minister of Finance, Avdullah Hoti, highly praised the deal, saying that these separate grants today from Germany to Kosovo will be used for projects that are important for the citizens of Kosovo.
