The government of Kosovo concluded today’s meeting where they stressed that the government would not annul or renegotiate the agreement for Association/Community of Serb-majority municipalities.

“We will continue with the drafting of the Decree and the Statute, acts will be subject to constitutional control before entering into force,” said Prime Minister Mustafa. He added that the government is interested to involve local and international experts as well as representatives of opposition parties in the drafting. “Both the Decree and the Statute will be sent to the Constitutional Court in order for each letter of the statute to be in accordance with the Constitution. There is no space here to say that the Association will not happen,” said Mustafa adding that principals are not a legal act and the Association will not establish based on these principals but based on the Statute.
