Mustafa to boycott Brussels until visa liberalisation recommendation is given

(TV21)

The Prime Minister of Kosovo Isa Mustafa has decided not to go to Brussels for talks with Serbia until the recommendation on visa liberalisation for Kosovo citizens is not given.

This was also confirmed by Mustafa’s advisor, Bajram Gecaj. Prime Minister’s decision was also welcomed by civil society representatives.

On the other hand, the European Union has confirmed continuation of dialogue between Kosovo and Serbia at the end of this month.

The Government of Kosovo has also confirmed that the Association of Serb majority municipalities will also be discussed in the next round of talks.

AAK wants joint front for solving the political crisis

(KTV)

The Alliance for the Future of Kosovo (AAK) has once again called for establishment of a joint front for solution of the political crisis, which, according to this political entity, is the deepest crisis that Kosovo ever had.

AAK said that many local and international actors are making concrete moves to overcome this situation, but not also the Government as the one responsible for causing this crisis.

“The ideas of creating commissions that would interpret Constitutional Court’s verdict on the Association, or potential calling of the Assembly plenary sessions, do not contribute to solution of the crisis. Therefore, all the ones that are conscientious and responsible should not take decisions that aggravate the situation further,” the AAK’s press release states.

On the other hand, granting of premature licence for the Serbian state mobile telephony operator has provoked the reaction of Vetëvendosje.

According to this political entity, Kosovo’s national security is being jeopardized with this. To Vetëvendosje, the Telecommunications Regulatory Agency is now obeying to Government’s orders.

European Parliament to give its consent on SAA this week

(TV21)

The European Parliament is expected to give its consent on the Stabilisation and Association Agreement between the European Union and Kosovo.

This agreement was signed at the end of last year. The consent giving by the European Parliament will be enough for making this agreement all-powerful.

Still no date for Assembly’s spring session

(All monitored broadcasters, RTK1)

Although the Kosovo Assembly’s spring session officially started on Monday, the legislative is continuing with its recess. There is still no announcement on holding of the Assembly Presidency meeting, where the date of next session would be decided.

Sources within the Assembly say that the Presidency is not expected to meet, at least not before this Wednesday.

Djuric leads Serbia’s experts in Brussels dialogue

According to a press release of Serbian government, the two delegations will discuss establishment of the Association of Municipalities with Serb majority, telecommunications, freedom of movement, university diplomas and other open issues.

Pacolli announces his return to politics

(KTV)

President of the Alliance for New Kosovo (AKR) Behgjet Pacolli says he will return to politics by leading the changes within his political party.

Pacolli announced that he will be harsh against all those that betrayed and used him.

In an interview with KTV, Pacolli said that he still has not forgotten the injury that the Constitutional Court caused to him and said that he was a victim of politics, and not justice.
