There are great chances that representatives of Serbs at the Assembly of Kosovo will either boycott or request postponement of today’s Assembly session during which the new president of Kosovo is expected to be elected.

The possibility that they may support one of the candidates for president of Kosovo has been almost entirely excluded.

On Thursday representatives of the Serbian List consulted Albanian partners and the Director of the Office for Kosovo in the Serbian Government, Marko Djuric, to decide on further steps that would be beneficial for Kosovo Serbs, reported Novosti.

The leader of the Serbian List and head of their parliamentary group, Slavko Simic, said after his meeting with Djuric in Gorazdevac, that the decision will be made right before the meeting at 11 am. “None of our deputies is led by the logic of personal interest. Our decision will be in the interest of the Serbian population, by consulting Belgrade and with the partners of the coalition,” Simic said.
