Deputy Prime Minister of Kosovo Branimir Stojanović said to RTS that the time has come for taking responsibility and that there were too many excuses for not implementing what was agreed in the Brussels Agreement.

Representatives of Serbs did not vote for Hashim Thaci to be elected as the president of Kosovo, however they did not hinder the procedure. “We have maintained our position not to support anyone, because we are of the opinion that Serbs should have one of the three most important posts in Kosovo,” said Stojanović. He further said that it is now expected from Thaci, who participated in all negotiation rounds in Brussels, to take over responsibility with regards to what was agreed in front of the international community, among other things, and what was agreed in relation to the special court and the Association/Community of Serb-majority municipalities.

“We also expect implementation of the section of the coalition agreement addressing the question of our representation in key posts. We have received guarantees and we expect this to be implemented,” said Stojanović.
