Kosovo Customs confiscated the vehicle of the Director of the Pristina National Theatre, Nenad Todorovic in Knic village, near Mitrovica.

A press conference was organized today in Gracanica’s cultural centre, in order to draw the public’s attention to the daily administrative problems of Serbs in Kosovo.

“I was driving a car with Vrnjačka Banja license plates with all relevant international documents and passport, for more than a year I have been trying to get a Kosovo driver’s license, but they will not allow it,” said Nenad Todorović, adding that he traveled every day from Mitrovica to Gracanica to work.

In front of civilians, i.e. the non-governmental sector, Bojan Teofilovic spoke about Kosovo’s complicated administration. He pointed out that the situation was so complicated that it does not condemn anyone who does not understand it, because in many cases they themselves do not understand.

Director of the Cultural Centre, Zivojin Rakocevic said that Serbs from Kosovo, for years, have suffered because of administrative discrimination.

The National Theatre of Pristina took the decision two days ago to suspend its work, but this decision was reversed and instead it was decided to read a declaration, before each play, about the refusal to consent to the destroying of the dignity of Serbs of Kosovo.
