Intimidation and attacks on employees of the National Theater of Pristina and refusal of Gračanica/Graçanicë Police Station officers to act in line with official duty were condemned by the Mayor of the town of Vladeta Kostić.

Kostić described the provocation by unknown youngsters as a “spread of nationalistic frustrations and demonstration of already seen street action directed at intimidating the Serbian community”. He argues that this event shows that ‘full freedom of movement has not been provided’, and that the presence of the international security structures should be reinforced on all roads in Kosovo.

Gračanica/Graçanicë Municipality issued a communique in relation to this case and requested Gračanica/Graçanicë Police Station commander to take responsibility of the case, since in many previous cases of attacks on Serbs and their property, they were treated just as statistic figures and not a single case was resolved.
