Two nights ago, in the village of Preoce, around 8 pm, unknown persons verbally and physically attacked two girls, sisters aged 12 and 14 years, their parents told the RTK2. A month ago in Gracanica, a girl (9 years) was attacked. However, both cases were not reported to the police.

A jeep of unknown license plates in Preoce village, ran into the girls on Saturday evening, and pushed them into the hedge beside the road. A passenger in the vehicle opened the window and physically attacked the older sister and hit her.

The jeep moved away at high speed when the uncle of the girls appeared.

The mother of these girls is concerned for the safety of her children, because she says that this is not the first time that Preoce village has had security problems, but she did not report the case to the police.

” We did not, because of them, because they did not want to report this or hear about it,” said the mother.

In Gracanica a month ago a similar situation occurred, as was confirmed to RTK2 by the father of the girl. Also he did not report the case, because he had doubts about the efficiency of the police.

”The girl was returning from school and next to Ognjiste restaurant, an unknown car stopped and they invited her to enter the vehicle. She was scared and started crying and ran home. We were not at home at the time, but my parents were, the child barely recovered. The school is near, but still, no one takes measures. It is not the first case, the same happened to my niece. My brother reported the case, I did not,” said the father.

At the police station in Gracanica it was confirmed that the two cases had not been reported, but that an investigation will be certainly carried out and security measures enhanced. They also urged the citizens of Gracanica to report any kind of attack to the police, in order to take necessary measures.
