Parliamentarian elections called by the Government of the Republic of Serbia will not take place in Kosovo because “there is neither legal nor political justification for it”, claims Kosovo minister without portfolio Edita Tahiri, writes Pristina-based paper Epoka e re.

Tahiri stated that senior Serbian officials have misused the agreement on normalization of relations between Belgrade and Pristina with their nationalistic statements during their recent visits to Kosovo. She also said that this issue will be presented at the next meetings with EU officials, and stressed that dialogue between Belgrade and Pristina will, in current phase, focus exclusively on the implementation of reached agreements.
