Belgrade will request from the EU to abolish Schengen visas for the holders of Serbian passports in Kosovo, issued by the Coordination Service of the Serbian Interior Ministry.

“The latest proposal of the European Commission on the transfer of Kosovo to the list of visa-free regime should be applied to all residents of the territory where visa liberalization is implemented,” was said from the Serbian Government office for Kosovo. Belgrade will request from the EU implementation of visa liberalization for the Serbian people living in Kosovo, regardless of the type of documents they have. However, the Office for Kosovo did not give further clarification which Serbian government institutions will initiate this issue, when and in which format.
